Can you cater for different dietary needs?
Yes we cater to all dietary requirements which include:
Vegetarian, Vegan, No Added Gluten, No Added Dairy, Paleo, FodMap, Halal, Pregnancy etc
All food with dietary requirements is clearly labelled and served separately.
Do you deliver?
Yes, all catering is delivered by Cater & Co personnel. We charge a standard delivery fee for within the Christchurch metropolitan area. Deliveries to outlying areas by arrangement.
Will I receive confirmation of my order?
Yes. If you do not, please contact us immediately.
There’s so much choice, I don’t know what to choose, can you help?
Let us do the hard work. Our caterer’s choice menus are designed to provide the most delicious treats from our kitchen, prepared daily, with the freshest seasonal produce. Talk to us about your event, the number of people and budget and we can do the rest.
I want to order items from different sample menus, can I do this?
Yes. If you have specific items you would like to order, please let us know when ordering or contact us to discuss. We will happily tailor your menu to your preferences.
Will I need to heat some food?
If your menu includes hot food, we can either deliver this hot or if you prefer to heat your own, we will provide detailed instructions. Please let us know your preference.
What are your payment terms?
Corporate Customers*: As your preferred supplier, payment terms are negotiable, please contact us to discuss.
*For large number catering (50+ people) we may request a deposit to confirm your order.
Private Catered Celebrations: We require a 50% deposit to confirm your catering.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We appreciate that life happens and sometimes things change. You are welcome to make changes to your catering. However, for events Monday to Friday, we do need to know by 9am the day prior to your event. For weekend catering, no changes after 9am Friday. Please contact us to discuss.
Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes, our minimum order is $80 excluding GST & delivery.
Help, I need catering tomorrow, can you help?
Maybe, but no promises. We are usually booked up with little space in our calendar, however please phone us and we will try our best.
Can you provide linen, glassware, crockery and cutlery?
Yes, we are happy to add this to your quote at your request.
Can you provide staff?
Yes. Additional fees apply, please contact us.
Do you need staff? Our catering is delivered, beautifully presented, hassle-free and designed to be simple to serve.
Can we supply our own alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages?
Yes you can. A Licensed Manager may be required for alcoholic beverages, please contact us for further information.
Can you provide professional service staff/chef’s for selected menu’s?
